Meet our instructor
Regan Escobar
Regan has 34 years of experience in the equine industry that includes competing on the local and National circuits, breaking and training young horses, competing on the Texas A&M Equestrian Team, conducting clinics, judging horse shows, coaching IEA Teams, managing in-gates at horse shows, and teaching lessons for over 20 of those years.
Regan grew up riding and training at Blue Fox Farm with Teri Bludworth in Houston, TX. She competed in hunters, jumpers, and equitation divisions in many states at the national level during that time. Upon graduation from high school, she was recruited to be a competing member of the Texas A&M University Equestrian Team where she competed on the Open level under two different coaches. She began her own teaching and training program in 2008 under the name of Relentless Pursuit Farm where she gained and taught over 75 students in a ten year period. Regan was re-admitted to Texas A&M University in 2017 where she obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science and earned an Equine Science Certificate in 2019. She completed courses that taught her equine business, equine nutrition, equine epidemiology, equine breeding and genetics, and several other equine-based courses. Regan has continued teaching lessons throughout her journey back to college and beyond. Regan re-branded Relentless Pursuit Farm to Century Oak Equestrian, LLC. where she currently has over 25 students, with room for more, who take lessons on a regular basis and compete on the local and rated level.
Regan lives with her husband, Michael, and two sons, MJ (4) and Matthew (1) in College Station, TX. Regan also has a daughter, Alex (22), who is a former riding student and competitor. Regan, Michael, MJ, and Matthew live with their 3 dogs (Barnabas, Goose, and Sophie) and 4 cats (Tubby, Glen, Felix, and Cali). MJ owns a miniature horse named Bear who will be accommodating some of our Tiny Trotters in our Tiny Trotters Program beginning May 2025.
Regan and Michael
Regan and her husband, Michael, have been married since April 2023. They are active members of their church, Grace Bible Church-Creekside, and enjoy attending Foundations, a church based marriage group that began in September 2023 and will conclude in February 2025. Michael enjoys his job as the Land Development Manager at Ranier and Sons and makes custom duck calls when he is not at work or spending time with family. Regan is also a portrait photographer and owns Regan Paige Photography, providing equine portraits, family portraits and wedding photography. Regan and Michael also enjoy going duck hunting when they get the chance!
Alex, MJ, and Matthew
Alex (22) lives in Conroe, TX where she works and enjoys baking, making jewelry, and driving to College Station to spend time with her little brothers. MJ (4) is in pre-school and is looking forward to starting Kindergarten in the Fall of 2025. He loves his pony, Bear. He enjoys riding Bear in between lessons and grooming him at every opportunity. He is also involved in gymnastics and swimming. Matthew (1), enjoys eating, dancing, learning how to swim, and playing with the family's dogs and cats. Matthew also enjoys grooming and riding Bear when his big brother allows.
