Competition Program

At Century Oak Equestrian, our show program is designed to provide a structured, supportive, and professional experience for both horse and rider. We handle the logistics so our riders can focus on performing at their best.

Participation in the show program is available to current students who are consistently enrolled in our lesson program.


Show Coaching & Training Fees

Show Day Coaching Fee
$95 per day

Includes:

  • Warm-up rides and ringside coaching 
  • Rider support and strategy throughout the day 
  • Horse care oversight during competition 


Schooling Day Fee (if applicable)
$65 per day

Includes flatwork, course preparation, and acclimation to the show environment.


Horse Preparation

To ensure each horse is presented safely and professionally:

Clipping & Mane Pulling
$65 per horse


Braiding (if required)
Market rate or outsourced as needed.


Hauling

Local Shows (Magnolia, TX area)
$150 round trip per horse


Katy, TX Shows
$275 round trip per horse


Mileage is split at the current IRS rate (approx. $0.72/mile) for mileage incurred outside of hauling.


Travel & Lodging

For multi-day or long-distance shows requiring overnight stays:

  • Hotel costs are shared among participating clients 
  • Meals and incidentals are not included 


Additional Costs (Client Responsibility)

The following are billed directly to the client or reimbursed:

  • Show entry fees 
  • Stall fees 
  • Office fees 
  • Bedding, hay, and shavings 
  • Training rides (if needed) 
  • Grooming assistance (if additional help is required) 


Program Expectations

To ensure a positive and successful experience:

  • Riders must be actively enrolled in the lesson program 
  • Horses must be in consistent work and appropriate condition 
  • Entries and deposits must be submitted by posted deadlines (trainer's responsibility) 
  • Riders are expected to maintain a standard of sportsmanship and preparation
